Darrell Tinsley grew up in upstate South Carolina. He is the youngest of three boys and as a child Darrell Tinsley was already starting to lay down a path with his voice as he would hear giggles on tv and began imitating voices such as the Tarzan yell. It seem to spark a new direction as hi mother would compliment his singing when they were driving in the old station wagon.
